JUDr. Dagmar Zukalova

JUDr. Dagmar ZukalovaJUDr. Dagmar Zukalova graduated from Law Faculty at Comenius University in Bratislava in 1997. In 1998 she finished a course "Change Management & Human Resource Management" at Open University England, City University Bratislava.

Since 1998 she worked in company KPMG Slovakia as a legal counselor for international clients.

From 2003 to 2005 as a partner of middle sized law firm where she used to manage projects related to commercial and labour law.

In 2005 – 2006 Dagmar worked as a HR manager and a counsel focused on labour law for Linklaters Bratislava.

Dagmar Zukalova has been a member of Slovak Bar Association since 2002. She brings with her a valuable experience of 11 years practical experience particularly in the area of labour and commercial law.

She practices in areas related to commercial and corporate agenda, ad hoc consulting in corporate law, solving special issues of administrative law relevant to the business activities of the client. She has also acquired significant and distinctive experience in the areas of lease relating to non-residential premises and consultation of human resource management, legal consulting in employment of foreigners and concerning social security of migrating employees after the accession of Slovakia to EU.

She has published numerous articles mostly about labour law. She regularly lectures HR managers and writes articles about labour-law issues.

She is an arbitrator in International Arbitral Court.

In 2006 she was nominated by the European Commission a national expert for international project of implementation measures of core labour law Directives into the national legislation.

In 2006, 2007 a 2008 she contributed for a labour law research and analysis in the annual World Bank project called "Doing Business". (see more details)

In 2007 she was honoured to be included in WHO IS WHO Encyclopaedia in Slovak Republic. (see more details)

In 2007 she was a member of American Chamber of Commerce committee and she actively participated on discussion concerning amendment to the Labour Code effective since 1st September 2007.

Since 2008 she has been participating in TV broadcast of legal advisory series.

In 2008 she has established HR Academy - the first legal lecture program for HR professionals in Slovakia (www.hracademy.sk)

She is fluent in English.
