Dagmar Zukalova was a guest of special on-line discussion provided by
Hospodarske noviny (Business Newspaper) magazine.
Since 1 p.m. Dagmar was answering questions regarding an amendment to the Slovak Labour Code as well as other labour law issues.

"Labour Law 2007" took place on 4th April 2007 at Radisson SAS Carlton Hotel, Bratislava, organised by EU Generation in co-operation with Zukalova Counselors at Law. It was already its third year and while the conference was under planning, it was beyond the imagination of people as to how up-to-date its main topic should have been. All contributions to the programme were focused on the existing prepared amendment to the Labour Code.
The morning session commenced with Professor Helena Barancova, making a presentation of her detailed analysis on the amendment and its impacts. Later, a tax consultant Milica Kadelova explained tax aspects on temporary assignation of employees within the EU or the third countries.
The afternoon block of lectures was opened by Dagmar Zukalova's presentation titled "European aspects of Slovak labour law". Attorney Kristina Ruskova contributed with topic regarding mass lay-offs. Rudolf Kubica, the chief labour inspector in Zilina, presented the control activities of the labour inspectorate. The last presentation at the conference was held by our guest from Czech Republic, attorney Marie Jansova, who shared with the participants the first experiences with the new Czech Labour Code.

JUDr. Dagmar Zukalová will have her presentation at the "Labour Law 2007" conference subtitled "... end of liberalism in Slovakia?" with a contribution titled "European aspects of Slovak labour law". The conference shall take its place on 4th April 2007 in Radisson SAS Carlton Hotel in Bratislava.
